How Do You Test and Rate Brokers?
We open a real account with every broker we review, fund it and place trades on its main platforms. Scores are based on fees, regulation, platforms, deposit and withdrawal options, research tools and customer support, with fees and safety carrying the most weight.
How Often Are Broker Reviews Updated?
Fee data is checked every month, and each full review is updated at least once a year, or sooner when a broker changes its pricing, platforms or licenses. The date of the last update is shown at the top of every review.
Do Brokers Pay for Higher Ratings?
No. Some brokers pay us when readers open an account through our links, which helps fund our testing, but partnerships never affect scores or rankings. A broker with a partner agreement can still receive a low rating.
